The Oklahoma City Law Enforcement Judo team recently competed in the Texas Police Games in College Station, TX. The results include:
Joe Stafford (USA Stars Norman PD)-gold
Mark Wood (OKCDT)-silver
Mike Darter (OKCDT)-bronze

The Judo competition of the 2001 World Police and Fire Games included over 150 competitors from over 20 counties. More international players registered for judo than any other sport at the games. The US took a total of 8 medals, as all our OKC team members were beaten before the finals. There were some excellent competitors, and we met some very good people from all over the world. It proved to be a learning experience for all of us. The team consisted of:

The OKC law enforcement judo team won a total of 7 of the 23 US medals at the International Law Enforcement Games in Cocoa Beach, Florida on 08-11-2000. The tournament consisted of judo, jujitsu and sambo players from eight countries, including USA, Russia, Khazakstan, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, France, and Hong Kong.
